GP and BMS recognised Menopause Specialist

Dr Katie Barber has worked as a GP in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire for the last 17 years. During her GP training she developed a particular interest in Women’s Health and worked as a GP specialist in Gynaecology before leading the specialist Menopause Clinic at the John Radcliffe Hospital until 2021 when she became Clinical Lead for the Oxfordshire Community Gynaecology service. She founded Oxford Menopause, a private menopause/women’s health service in 2020. Katie is an accredited British Menopause Society specialist and Menopause trainer in Oxfordshire. In June 2022 Dr Barber was elected to the British Menopause Society Medical Advisory Council.
