2025 CONFERENCE THEATRES
KEYNOTE THEATRE
Hear from senior figures in primary care from NHS England and other ALBs (Arm’s Length Bodies) to gain important updates on national policy. This is also your opportunity to join debates on the major challenges and shifts in general practice, on varied topics such as workforce and culture, embedding new ARRS roles, uptake of digital services to manage access, addressing healthcare inequalities with a population health management approach and integrated care.
GP CLINICAL THEATRE 1
Gain essential educational updates on key clinical topics related to dermatology, respiratory disease, learning disabilities, autism, dementia, mental illness, frailty and MSK. WORKSHOP THEATRE
Gain practical insights into how to deliver better services, improve patient experience and work effectively as a multi-disciplinary team in primary care through a range of interactive sessions, masterclasses and ‘how to’ lectures. You’ll hear specific practical examples of how business owners have adapted to the current landscape and flourished.
NURSING & MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAMS THEATRE
Hear from the leading lights in the nursing world on a varied range of different topic areas across the clinical and career development divide. Sessions are designed to demonstrate best practice on service provision within areas such as vaccination and travel health, but to also provide inspiration to support your professional development and growth as part of a general practice team. There’s also opportunity to better understand how specific ARRS roles fit into the general practice model.
THE MENOPAUSE THEATRE
Providing comprehensive information about menopause with sessions focused on basic HRT prescribing to more complex management. Sessions will also look at impact of ethnicity and impact of other diseases.
THE CONTRACEPTION & REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH THEATRE
CPD accredited educational content on common conditions which traditionally are poorly understood in primary care, including PCOS, endometriosis, menstruation and fertility. There’s also general updates on contraception overall with a special emphasis on the hot topic of intrauterine systems (IUS).
WOMEN'S HEALTH WORKSHOP THEATRE
Through a series of interactive sessions, panel discussions, and presentations, the Women’s Health Workshop covers key clinical and non-clinical priorities. The workshop will provide sessions on breast cancer, neurodiversity, and patient experiences. Additionally, it will adopt a broader lens to explore how resolving wider societal issues, such as health inequalities and violence against women and girls, will have a direct impact on women’s health outcomes.

Menopause TheatreDigestive health is an often overlooked yet significant concern for women during perimenopause and menopause. Emerging evidence suggests a tangible link between menopause and IBS-type symptoms, with many women experiencing bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, and abdominal discomfort. This session will explore findings from recent surveys and research, including a Harley Street at Home study and an MSc Dietetics project, which highlight the prevalence of digestive health issues in menopause. We will review clinical experiences, the role of the gut microbiome-oestrogen axis, and the need for better recognition of digestive symptoms in menopause care.
